would like to know if a Doberman Pincher, German Short-Haired Pointer, Standard Poodle or Weimaraner would suit my life style better.:
- I live by myself
- I am very active
- i will show my dog who is boss, me
- i go swimming, jogging and camping vey often
- i will socialize my dog every day by taking him to places and the dog park often
what i am looking in dog
- will keep up with me with my active life style
- is Intelligent and responsive
- is loyal and sweet
- very playful
- would be a velcro dog!!
I will make sure to do as much research as i can before i go and buy a dog and i would get him by a responsible and caring breeder.
so what do you think of those breeds suits my needs and do you think my life style would be ok?
Thanks in advance
Also my dog would spend about 4-5 hours by it self each day. Also I would definitely take him to puppy classes, I know it is important to socialize any dog, as any breed so I would be spending alot of time to do that.
Also please only pick the breeds I said, not others I am deciding on one of these breeds. |

I would go with the Weimaraner because they are very active dogs! Also, they can do well being left alone but make sure you give the dog something to occupy his time like toys, etc. They are very intelligent dogs but start training early. Weimaraners are loyal and responsive because of their alert nature. Puppy classes would be a great thing to do I really think the Weimaraner fits your active and social lifestyle! I wish you the best of luck with your new puppy (: |

when dogs are puppies they need alot more attention than when they are adults. You seem very active so this is the perfect lifestyle for a dog. But leaving is alone 4 hours a day when its a puppy might be a bit much. Maybe you could find someone to look after it until its a bit older whenever you go out camping or work etc.
I strongly suggest a labrador, they so friendly, loyal, lovable and very playful and active. I have one myself and is so loyal towards me |

A Border Collie Would Make A Perfect Pet For You Because:
They Love Activities e.g Walking Camping etc.
Very Loyal
Extremely Intelligent(Thats Why They're Used As Farm Dogs)
They Love To Play
They Can Be Active For Hours Without Tiring!
Good Luck In Your Dog Hunt. |

You've asked this exact same question before. Any of those dogs will fit into your lifestyle - go with the one you want instead of asking people on the Internet to choose a 12 year commitment for you. |

Any of the above would do but with the standard poodle you will have to have it groomed on a regular bases. |
