Subject :Whats your favorite breeds? Would you consider owning them?..

For example my favorite breeds are the-
Chihuahua
Hungarian Vizsla
Australian Shepherd
White German Shepherd
Weimaraner
English Bulldog
Well the first breed i own already & will always, LOVE the breed. The second breed i hope to own in a few years & do conformation and agility with.
As well as the third breed.
I may consider owning the 4th & 5th breed in the future.
As for the last breed there great dogs! on my favorites list. But i do not feel i would want to own one. The English bulldog is such a cute little breed but has a too short of a life-span & health problems for me.
Other breeds i find beautiful and wonderful are the Afghan hounds, St Barnard's, Mastiffs, Newfies etc. But there too big for me and the Afghan has to much of a coat for my wiliness to care for.
What are your favorite breeds, would you consider owning them? Why or why not?

My favourite breed is the Samoyed.
Next favourites (in no particular order) are:
French Mastiff
Great Dane
Old English Sheepdog
Greyhound
Pit Bull
Leonberger
Dalmatian
Siberian Husky
Doberman
And more, I just can't think of them all now
Anyway, most of these breeds I will just admire from afar. I love them all, but asides from the fact I can't see myself owning so many dogs, my heart breed is the Samoyed, and as long as I have one of them in my life I'll be happy. 
I want to always have a Samoyed. I fell in love with the breed many years ago and when we got one, when I was 9, I was locked into an incredible bond with such an incredible dog. Lui is now 9, and whilst I'm currently living away from home, having just started university, I plan on visiting home a lot to see him and want to have him live with me once I finish uni, as well as hopefully get another Samoyed.
French Mastiffs are a breed I recently fell in love with, and they are definitely a breed I would strongly consider owning. This is the same for a Pit Bull (which I would ideally get from a shelter) and also a Greyhound (a retired racer, ideally).
The rest of the breeds will, like I said, most likely be admired from afar. Whilst I love the breeds very much, and asides from the fact that would mean a lot of dogs, they're not really breeds I "feel" for, if that makes sense. Whilst they are beautiful, stunning breeds with great personalities they are not breeds I've really fell in love with. |

My favorite breeds:
Shetland Sheepdog: raised them and showed them for decades in obedience, conformation, agility and herding. Great dogs!
Border Collies: have one now, do agility and some herding training. I do not recommend them for pets.
Australian Shepherds: I recommend them to people. I doubt I would choose one over the above 2.
Those are my top 3. For me. Herding breeds suit me. Their intelligence, biddability, trainability, enthusiasm, sensitivity, athleticism, their desire to work "with" their human. |

My favorite breed is the Great Pyrenees. I WILL own one gosh darnit! It just won't be for a LONG time! Lol...
My goal in life is to have a huge farm with lots of rescue animals, including slaughterhouse rescues like cows, sheeps, goats, pigs, chickens, etc. I would love to have a livestock guardian and I love the personality of Great Pyres. I also love the grooming that comes with them. I will of course be rescuing the Great Pyre when the time comes though...no breeders no matter if I want a purebred or not! |

My favourite breed is the Belgian Shepherd. I have had Groenendaels in the past and would really love to have 1 again but it is very hot where I live so I don't think it would be fair to the dog. I do have a Malinois - 11 months old - and he is an amazing dog. I don't think I will ever be without some variety of Belgian Shepherd ever again. |

I've owner the first two and will always own APBTs. They are my passion. I just love powerhouse breeds. I'm hoping to get a Dogo next but it'll be many years in the making. Need to do A LOT of research on that breed. Meet as many as possible. They are an INTENSE breed but beautiful. |

Thai ridge back - i plan to get one in a couple years.
mexican hairless - there awesome ive got one.
american pit bull terrier - some day i will get one.
african boerboel - wanted one for years.
blood hound - some day.
standard poodle - got one they are great.
ADD - i also like great pyrenese,irish wofhounds,neo mastiffs and central asian shepherd dogs. |

Hi mini-schnauzers and i have several and raise them to sell. I also have a Chi that i love dearly and a basset hound. I would love some day to have a Golden retriever they are such loving dogs. |

greyhound, they are similar to afghan in the sense they are tall and lean, they have very short coats and there are many that need to be rescued from the race track. That is my next dog. |

Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs...and were thinking about getting a Great Dane.
GSMD's are awesome. Protective yet good with kids. Very strong but easy to train. |

My favorite breeds are adopted dogs. Typically the ugliest one I can find that hasn't a prayer of finding a home. You should be ashamed if you breed or buy while the homeless die. |
