Subject :My ***** won't feed her puppy, what can I feed it?..

My weimaraner had a litter of 16 pups starting friday and ending saturday. I started feeding them with goats milk and thought all was good til they started dying and getting diarrhea. Their is only one left. He seems to be a strong one. I got some different formula from the vet. Which seems to working well. Does anyone have any advice I could use on keeping this little guy alive? |

Again I find myself agreeing with 'Lorraine'
I would add get this dog spayed as soon as possible, you really shouldn't be breeding, leave it to the professionals.
As for the last pup, you need to feed every couple of hours right through the 24 and encourage the pup to toilet, (pee and poo) by gently wiping a damp tissue over his 'bits' after each feed. |

First of all I would have never gave them goat milk. I would have given them puppy formula. You can find it at pet co or at other pet stores. Second of all why didn't you take the puppies to the vet when they started to get sick? I don't mean to be harsh, but come on! It's not that hard to figure out. Good luck though!  |

If the rest of the litter is dead, will the mother nurse this one? If not, take to your vet...Good luck |

u let 15 pups die NICE:(</3 watever any way i guess you should go to the vet and ask for wat to give them try formla from the local pet supplies store |

your vet can give you advice on special formulated milk
If you dont know how to breed dont! That simple! |

I really hope you are a troll, otherwise you are responsible for the deaths of 15 puppies. Why would you have given them goat's milk and not puppy formula? Why did it take 15 puppies before you figured out that something was wrong? Why did you not spay her before this all could happen? Poor puppies. You dog deserves better than this too. |
