I suspect your dog is eating something that doesn't agree with him (like sticks, grass, compost, birdseed). If not eating any unknown things, when do the vomiting episodes occur? Are they before a meal or after, only at night, only during the day? I ask, because some dogs get a very empty stomach, and may actually suffer from slight low blood sugar, which can cause nausea. If you notice a PATTERN in when he vomits, I suggest you feed the dog, a biscuit late night; just before bed, and/or in the late afternoon. I assume you feed meals twice per day. Dogs should eat twice a day, vs once.
You may want to switch off grains in his food & pick a potato-based food such as Core by Wellness, or Evo by Innova, Orjen, etc. |
