it depends. in my personal experiance i have always left dry food out for my dogs as well as cats. i will give them some wet food a few times a day but i always leave dry food and water out. maybe he/she isn't getting enough to eat or maybe he/she always seems hungry because it knows it only gets fed 2 times a day and gets a little greedy and wants more. give he/she its wet food with a little dry food 2 times a day and leave a little dish of just dry food and see if anything changes. make sure he/she has plenty of water too! |

Almost all dogs are hungry all the time. But an active dog can get its meals split up into three-four if needed. Free-feeding is not a good idea because some dogs eat all at once an bloat up, while other dogs pick at the food and you don't notice if their apetite is off and they could be sick. |

all dogs are always hungry - feed your dog a good dog food the first ingredience in the list should alway be the main ingredience like Lamb and Rice. Dogs can not digest yellow corn if included should be near the end of the list. only feed your dog the amount list on the back of the bag according to your dogs weight. |

Please keep food down, dont limit to so much a day, we keep food, fresh all day long, at night before we leave the kennel, everyone gets a good size bowl of fresh food and icewater......we always free food......also, it could be your babys diet....what kind of dog food are you feeding, some foods dont have enough of what a dog needs so eats to compensate for the late of nutrients.....try Nutro Max. it really good for your dog, it makes less stool, good digestion, improves coat and skin, makes the coat just shine......it has not artificial ingredients, and I have had all my dogs on it for 14 yrs not, well alittle longer, not one problem ever, they love it.......and I never have a dog that does not eat their food....and they dont want to eat all the time, it furnishes what they need...if you have not done so, put your dog on PetTabs Plus, this will also help the dog get the vitamins and minerals it needs......good luck.....
Merry Christmas |

Up until a year old, it should be three times a day on puppy food. Once she gets past a year, it should be twice a day: simply because they have a tendency just like humans to want to eat more and become fat. You don't want one of these to become overweight because it makes it harder on their backs and legs. |

It depends on the age of your dog really. Puppies should be fed three times a day until about 12 weeks of age, after that you can feed them twice a day until they're about 6 months old. At maturity you can either feed once a day, or split the daily required amount over two meals.
There are general guidelines on your dog food bags, usually dependent on weight and age of your dog. But that's what they are GENERAL guidelines. If your dog is always hungry (and you've had him checked out by a vet to make sure there's no physical problems or parasites) then he probably needs more food. If he's very active he'll need more than if he's a couch potato.
Give him a bit more each meal time until you find that after 10 - 15 minutes he's walked away from his dish and left a little behind. That means he's had enough! |

well it depends on how old and big your dog is, but it's best to feed him once in the morning before you walk your dog and again in late afternoon to prevent it from getting hungry til the morning. |

Weims are kind of like Labs in that they have bottomless stomachs. You could feed 3 times a day, but it isn't necessary. You might try adding green beans to his food to help fill him up. He may also want to eat out of boardom. Take him for a walk or play when you think he wants food in the middle of the day. |
