Hi, I just bought my 10 week old Nikkho. He is a beautiful boi and comes from good stock. I am kind of thinking that it might be nice to see him continue on that lineage but also am very concerned.

I don't want him to grow into a terror. I am afraid that as a stud he will be out of control and not a good companion. Don't want to end up being his warden like in a prison.

Also, if I do decide to neuter him, is it true that it must be done early when he is a pup or he will end up still having stud impulses?

Anyones thoughts? My Nikkho will appreciate your comments.

I have the same problem you do. I was told that the sooner you nueter him the less chance you'll have of him developing routine male things. Say for instance always marking territory. Mine actually marked his territory on my couch once. My Weim actually challenges me every now and again to see what he can get away with. I was told that having him nuetered might make him more submissive.
