My eight and half month old weimaraner can't stand being left on his own. He has ripped up my carpets and continues to destroy anything in his path when alone. He has many toys and is always given a distraction aid (treat balls etc) when he is to be left on his own however these seem to make no difference. I understand he is still a puppy and therefore is a baby but it would be nice to know that he is coping ok and not in distress every time I leave him.
Additionally he wont eat when I am away, not even treats. He isn't left alone for great lengths of time the most I've ever been away from him is about 6 hours. He has to learn that he can't come everywhere with me. Any advice as to what I can do to help him? Take care all xx
