We have a litter of puppies and have yet to figure out their breed. Their mother is a weimaraner/basset hound but we do not know what the dad is. Please give us your insight.

his nose is what sticks out compared to the other puppies, the short wide nose and formation of fur around his muzzle. besides this feature, this puppy resembles its mother.

You have Mutts. You will never be able to know what these truly are. The father was more than likely a Mutt, and his parents could of been Mutts, and so on and so forth.

The pups will have inhereted traits from both of their parents. Some will inheret more of their mothers traits, some more of their fathers.

The mother could even of bred with more than one male, which means the there will be many different breeds in your pups.

Have the mother spayed when this is over to prevent more litters of Mutts which will add to the millions dying in shelters.
