i would take both but i know you can only have one. both of these dogs breeds are very active and will need constant attention.
pros for golden doodles
live around 15 years
very obedient
very intelligent
sociable
cons for golden doodles
shed alot
Minor concerns CHD, PRA, VonWilebrand's, Elbow and Patella disorders
above are minor concerns so dont be worried
pros for weim
Weimaraners are highly intelligent, fast learners.
They're so expressive
Most Weims learn basic commands, housebreaking, and simple tricks like shaking paws quite easily.
Weimaraners are highly skilled hunters. They are superb tracking dogs.
Weimaraners are loyal
fun loving and very playful.
cons for weims
Sometimes they're too smart. They quickly learn how to open doors...
They need abundant attention and lots of interesting Weimaraner-proof toys, chews, bones. etc
bored Weimaraner WILL find fun things to do. Young Weims with nothing to play with or chew, will try whatever is within reach
Their enhanced sense of smell finds anything.
Most Weimaraners are high energy dogs.They need lots of exercise
be prepared to take them for lots of long walks

Either one is good. they are similar breeds.
weims are very flashy, active dogs and are easy to train. They're exuberance can sometimes knock over small children.
goldendoodles tend to be better with small kids but are also flashy and active. They love water.
goldendoodles are actually a breed. not registered, but all breeds came from mutts, didn't they. Think about it, they are being bred on a widespread scale to look and mostly act the same. They have the same health issues, and such. |

Your aunt doesn't sound like a reputable breeder, she's what they call a "backyard breeder". The bane of both purebreed-loving AND mutt-loving society!! YUCK.
BUT...if she's giving you a pup for free and you will give it a loving forever home... pick with your heart. Mutts can be so sweet, Weimaraners are beautiful. Of course your aunt's Weimaraners probably aren't up to breed standard, but it sounds like you just want a loving pet.
Give them a good home and tell your aunt to please stop breeding unpedigreed pooches, the shelters are overflowing with millions. |

Goldendoodles are mutts... Golden retriever x poodle mix.
There is NOTHING special about them, you are just being tricked into thinking so.
Please do not fall into that breeders / puppy store's trap, and be suckered into buying that mutt. You will regret it in the long run.
You may think the dog is cute, but really.. that is not a reason to waist your money on some mutt with a fancy name slapped on it.
I really hope you will be smart and stay FAR away from the goldendoodle.
If you choose a weimaraner.. (which I pray to god you do)

first of all honey google the word designer dog and you'll understand why its a mutt. but there is nothing wrong with mutts. I don't know why people need cutesy names for their pups
i would go with the golden retriever poodle mix because you have more experience with at least the golden part but with all mutts you never really know their behavoir so research the poodle part too

Goldens and weimeraners are both very active dogs. I guess the question you would need to ask yourself is which temperment you prefer and how much grooming you want. Remember though that the goldendoodle is still a mix and there is no guarantee if it will be like the golden or the poodle. |

They're both cute! I don't know much about the breeds (although Goldens are AWESOME!)
I can tell you that I chose my pup from the litter easily. I just picked each of them up, and whichever one cuddled the best was the one I took home! We've been living happily ever after ever since.

I would go for the goldendoodle. They are cuter and nicer. My friend has a goldendoodle and has not had any problems with her. The goldendoodle looks much more cute in the picture and will probably be more fun. Also, cuter name lol. |

A goldendoodle is NOT a breed, it's a mutt, and your aunt should be ashamed of herself for bringing more unwanted dogs into this world. |

Weim are ugly to me but HYPER!!!!! If you want a hyper dog get the Weim but Id go with the Goldendoodle!!!! |
