My friend knows somebody that can't keep there two weimaraners. And was wondering if we could take One. I havent seen the dogs yet. My mom is allergic that is why we have a toy poodle but he needs a companion. But would the weimaraner be too much for my poodle. My poodle is full of energy and loves to run and play with other dogs. The weimaraners are less than a year old so they are older puppies. I was thinking about looking at them seeing how my mom reacts to them and how they play with my poodle. The owner i guess said that they have short fine hairs so they are good with people that are allergic. I am for sure looking at the dogs but whether or not we will take them home depends on alot. We have a good size medium yard. And we have a long bikepath down the street and a friend with a super hyper goldendoodle to play with.

So does my plan sound good or stupid?
And what do you sugest i do?

I think your plan is great. They do shed a lot but i recommend to have your mom meet them and spend some time and determine if she is reallyallergicc. Also what I recommend if you do get these dogs is that you vacuumm every day and brush them to get rid of thei hair. They might have short hair but that doesn'tnt mean they will not shed.

Someone with allergies, would be allergic to the weimaraner. By all means, let your mom look at them, but don't get your hopes up.
