The patches are lighter in colour than her usual coat and are appearing on her back, sides and torso. There has been no change to her diet or routine and she is fit and healthy.

Speak to her breeder - it could be that at her age a color change is normal, or it could be that she has an autoimmune condition.

If she develops skin problems, start by considering it a food allergy, and work with a veterinary dermatologist - but it may just be that she is the right age to grow into her puppy coat. You need to ask the weim people, and specifically the one who produced her and knows about their line. They should also be told if she has a problem, so they can be aware of what their dogs have thrown.

That happened to my dog butt she got darker.
She could be just changing color but if you are that worried bring her to the vet just to make shure nothing is wrong.

Someone told me that if a Weimaraner gets a cut or scratch and loses the hair that it grows back lighter or even white. Did your pup get scratched?
