calmer _ Weimeraner probably,,,,,
easier to train - Weimeraner
muscular - weimaraner
swimmer - weimeraner
exercise - BOTH HEAVILY
stay home? - neither, both need training
HEALTHIER - WEIMERANER from a reputable breeder
lifespan - Well bred Weimeraner
PICKK?- Weimeraner -- i am not a hunter, so i would not own a weimeraner though...... any one who intentionally breeds a boxer and a lab is doing so with unhealthy dogs and i wouldn't touch a BOXADOR with a ten foot pole - temperament and health problems are most certainly guaranteed |

In general I would say;
Calmer- Weimaraner
Bigger- height: Weimaraner
Musclier- Boxer/Lab
Better Swimmer- Weimaraner
Exercise- Weimaraner
Stay home longer- depends on the dog and the way it is raised, however, Weimaraners are one of the worsufferersres separationion anxiety.
Healthier-depends on the dog, probably the Boxer/Mix, as both breeds have few health problems
Longer life span- Probably the boxer/lab
My choice would be the Weimarner because they're one of my favourite breeds on dogs |

boxador, thats a new one... how sad... boxers are usually calm and labs crazy so you won't be able to tell anything with out seeing the dog.... are you interested in getting one? i would just adopt a dog from a shelter than pay some irresposible person for breeding mutts! or get the weimaraner, boxers usually have bad health probs and don;t live for very long which in the "boxador" will be highly undeterminable..... please don't buy one it's sad everyone is breeding mutts now |

Answers for a mix, are UNKNOWN because there is no way to know how a mix will turn OUT. It may be very Boxer-like or very Lab-like. It could be a bad mix of both. You don't seem to understand that, despite saying you do - that a Boxador is NOT a breed, has no breed standard, has no known expectable behaviors, there is NO absolute on: coat type, color, size, breed characterisitics, etc.
which is suited for each category im curious to see
-calmer: Boxer maybe, but none are calm breeds.
-easier to train: Lab - maybe.
-Which is bigger: Weim taller, Lab may weigh more.
-Whose more muscular:
Depends on structure, bone & conditioning, could be any of the 3 breeds.
-who's a better swimmer: Lab. Boxador might not like water.
-which needs more exercise: Depends on the dog, but probably the Weim, then the Lab, then the Boxer.
- who can stay home longer: Huh???
No puppy can be crated or contained w/o a bathroom break, longer than it is months OLD! If you want a dog to be able to stay alone longer, it needs to be an adult dog, or needs to be housed in a dog kennel, outside. None of these are independant breeds who do well for long periods, w/o human contact.
Which is healthier:
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All breeds have health problems, but the Weim has less, because they are not as popular. Popular breeds are frequently bred by unknowledgeable or uncaring individuals that pass on bad traits or don't eliminate unhealthy dogs from breeding their programs. (It's all about the almighty BUCK.) Health checks aren't cheap.
Boxers have very high rates of mast cell cancer, and heart problems. Both Labs & Boxers have high rates of hip dysplasia. Reputable Weim breeders/owners (thru careful screening of hips) prior to doing any breeding have gotten hip dysplasia under 10% in the breed (see OFA) for more statistics. All 3 breeds are prone to BLOAT which can be fatal, if not teated.
-Who has a longer life span:
I've had one 16 yr old Weim another died at 12. Do you own homework, on common ages for breeds to live to, and health problems in each. However, nothing "standardized" is known about a Boxador. Just because it is a mix won't make it healthier (hybrid vigor) if the parents weren't healthy.
- if you had to pick one which would you choose?
What I would choose, would be right for ME, not you. Why do you assume either of these dogs would be right for you? It sounds more like a process of elimination (the lesser of two evils). Two less than ideal choices, rather than a well researched option & a choice of an ideal breed, for you AND your family (which will also be involved in this decision). I'd also buy from a reputable breeder, you don't seem inclined to do that.
any other info would be great ty
